Confused

Hello, me and this girl we previously had something going with eachother during the summer of 2016 during the winter we had to split from eachother, we weren't in a relationship but we engaged in activity. Through the summer she made it clear she had feelings for me. However I had to move away during the winter but now I am back and we have started to text. Her replies to me have always been grammatically correct and descriptive they are not short and one word answers haven't been used. Overall from these messages I think that she is interested in me.
Yesterday she dropped the 2 x's and I sense that something between us was different. I gave her space and settled off to my evening. The next morning she sent me a snapchat or her face. I then sent one back with text only getting a one word response. I then sent her another message asking what was up stating asking if she was ok as she seemed down. In which she responded with a descriptive message saying she was ok and how I was (more descriptive than that but I can't remember what it said!). In which she put 2 kisses on the end which she didn't do previously with her short one word answers.

I'm not sure what's going on with her is she playing hard to get. Today her responses have been slow. Or am I getting the wrong end of the stick and looking into this too much.
